Anyone buying or leasing the diesel X5 also needs to know that it qualifies for $1,800 tax credit until December 2010 or until BMW sells 60,000 diesels in the US. Then the discount is phased out over two quarters. |

Replying to: dale2009 (Jul 07, 2009 6:31 pm) Knowing about the cash assistance when you talk to the salesperson is important. If you don't know about the $4,500, the dealers will make it look like they're giving you a great price, but they're really dipping into the money from BMW. Also, you have to take delivery by August 31. $1,800 tax credit also helps.
