Replying to: nato (Mar 14, 2009 7:52 pm) I'm looking to buy a 2009 x5 3.0i with premium package, cold weather, technology, rear climate control, 3rd row seats, running boards, (if the car comes with it then the ipod and usb adapter with smart phone integration). MSRP is $58,825. Can any one tell me what a good price would be for this car? i've gotten quotes for about 52,500. Any help would be greatly appreciated or even other deals that people have gotten in the last month or so would be great. Is there a good dealer in the tristate area that will give you the best deal? Thanks all!

Replying to: tylerg2 (Mar 20, 2009 1:03 pm) that 52,500 i believe includes the $1750 discount. Another dealer told me that there is no $1750 discount on the x5 (its only for a lease). but i don't think thats true. Which dealer did you get your deal from? Mine is from bmw of teanfly.

All manufacturer's are different, but many times, all the dealer can do is submit your build order request, and then it needs to get approved by the manufacturer. Plus, you'll also most-likely be required to lay out a deposit; not a big deal as they are usually refundable, but dealer's like them as "good faith" to show you're serious. Also, they want to make darn sure you really want the car, because a botched order usually takes away from their allocation. Sorry, this is all mumbo-jumbo, but to answer your question. Expect to get the incentives that are available at the time you sign and take delivery of your vehicle. |
