I have a 2005 Prius - with the very same problem. Did you ever find an answer?

I am also in the market for a #7. I live in Los Angeles and wondering if you can recommend a dealer with a 500 mi radius.

Do you have any intel on how long I would have to wait to save the $1K? Probably until the 07s hit the market?

Thank you for your help.

I have the same problem on my '05 Prius. Were you able to resolve the problem? Thank-you

There are several dealers in the LA market, notably one of the highest volume, if not THE highest volume dealer in the the US, Longo Toyota. It's part of the Penske Group.

I am looking at a 2007 Prius. My dealer has one coming in equiiped the way I want except that it has 17 inch wheels (option with Pirelli tires)> This adds quite a bit to the price and I am wondering if anyone esle has these.

How does it affect ride, handling, fuel economy?

Most like the larger wheels.

There is absolutely no shortage now on Prius. Check other dealers within 100 mile radius of where you live, you can do that online. They are selling at or just below MSRP most places.

That is not a stock option. Right now the only factory wheel choices are the normal 15"s and the Touring model 16"s. THe touring model has a MSRP of about $800-1000 over the standard model but in much shorter supply

Hi,
We recently bought 2, pkg #2 Prius cars. We added a Toyota in dash 6cd changer to both about $650 installed.
No Nav or Bluetooth.
I have a Garmin portable Nav unit if needed. Actually almost NEVER use it.
The #2 has smart key, backup camera, VSC, MP3, aux audio.
We paid 22K each (two different dealers) which is the edmunds invoice price. So. Cal invoice is $22.3.
Very good financing until at least end of March.
Look on Prius Chat and Prius On Line for discussions on price.
Send me a PM if I can help.
We had a 2005 for 2 years, love these cars.
Carl
