Replying to: aimansh (Nov 29, 2009 8:53 pm) ive dealt with Ann arbor Acura, multiple times, they used every dirty trick in the book to hook me onto a car. If you see what others are paying, you coulda gotten an 10 model very barely a few more dollars. those AA acura guys were jerks to my wife and I. telling us come on down....quote me one price, then magically i "misheard" on the phone. You bought an 09 model, that is demo'd, and fwd, in michigan that combination is literally worst kinda car to buy. If you compare AA acura to rest of dealers in chicago etc, they are always way overpriced, they wont budge because there's always someone misinformed willing to pay more.

| Just got 2009 TL Base for 31,200 plus TTL. Very pleasant dealer and the deal done in 10 minutes. Having driven the car about 300 miles, feel satisfied and love the car | |

Pulled a trigger on 2009 TL/Demo on last day of Nov 2.5k miles White 33,500k (with destination) + Doc +Tax etc. Probably would be able to get few more dollars off but was not worth the headache. Now I got the headache anyway as I saw new cash to dealer for 2,500k which I don;t think was available in Nov so I could have got even better deal. Oh well. One info I want to share.. Extended warranty. I was quoted $1398 when I was picking up the car and they did not want to go any lower. I saw others got $1200 which is even better, but it seems that there are some Acura/Honda dealers have a business model where they try to sell Ext warranty based on volume so they give much better deals you will get at dealers who sell a few of these. AcuraCare 7y/100k $0D Acura TL/Tech under 3k miles I have a quote for $1095. And half of that number should be refundable if you don't use it after 4y/50k |

Also, I heard that some people sell this warranty as part of private sale at the end of 4 years. I guess anyone who is buying a 4 year old TL would gladly pay few hundred dollars extra for 3y/50k warranty. |
