#5999 of 6008 Memo Pad in 2008 M35
by charlie08

Page 4-105 of the M45/M35 Owners Manual says that there is a Memo Pad function that records 6 voice memos up to 20 seconds long each. However, I cannot get it to come up by voice activation, although on page 4-101, there is an example using "Memo Pad record" as a command.
Has anyone used this? My sales person said that it is not a feature of the M35 and he is apparently correct, although it is plainly explained in the manual.

I went with Michelin PA2's on my car in 17". They handle almost as well as the stock Goodyears and are actually quieter. Because they are higher profile, the ride is better in the winter pothole season, and you're less likely to damage a wheel. You can buy them mounted from TireRack with the sensors already installed, if you wish...I opted to not get them. While a nice feature, I've driven for 40-years without them, only relying on visual and manually checking periodically, so I figured I could handle it. You will get the tire waring light to come on if you drive far enough (about 10-miles or so) and you don't have any sensors.

The passenger seat is more adjustable and therefore more comfortable.
The navigation recognizes your voice better, but is much more wordy and time consuming.
Some of the old voice options are no longer offered on the US cars (ventilation controls,....)
a few more audio things included....hard disk, .....
That's about it.

#6007 of 6008 '08 M35 Sport or '09 M35x?

Hi there- I'm considering buying a (gently) used '08 Sport or 09 M35x. Both have low miles and the 08 is under factory warranty until Jan 2013 (plenty by my standards).
The 08 has the Advanced Technology Package (which I've found hard to find on used M's) and the 09 has the 'x' factor as the standard technology package. (From a cost perspective, I think I can both vehicles could be had for aprx the same price - 32-34k.)
I'm leaning towards the 08 because the adv tech package and since I live in TX I don't have much need for X capabilities.
Does anyone have any feedback on pros or cons with these vehicles? thx in advance,
-t
#6008 of 6008 M35x Tire Pressure Sensor
by ken1549

Has anyone experienced a problem with a tire pressure sensor not working after driving? When I first start my car all 4 sensors read the correct tire pressure. However, after driving about 45 minutes the sensor on the right rear stops reading giving a low pressure warning. If I stop and restart all the sensors work properly.
