Does anyone know if the ford V10 will get the same valve upgrades as the 5.4 V8 soon ? Or should I just get one now ? My GMC 2500 HD has been a POS since new (2 1/2 years ,50k mi) and it's time for a change.

I heard that for the 2005 year that the Superduty will be getting a makeover. Both to engine, drivetrain, and I believe the body as well.

Thought that 2005 was basically facelift for Superduty. Major redesign will be in 2007 model year. Haven't heard anything definite about the new heads for the V10. Upgrade shouldn't be too difficult, the Triton engines are a "modular" design, so what's proved out on the 5.4L should be easily transferrable to the 6.8L.

they don't know if it will be merely a facelift or a redesign. Who knows.. we will have to wait and see.
