Put Mobil 1 in my GT. Recommend it highly. Definitely runs smoother. A tad more power. No wonder new Vettes come with it in their engines.

Mobil 1 & Others by vertical3

Have always run a synthetic in every new vehicle
I've gotten. Usually Mobil 1SS but Pennzoil and Castrol as well (PepBoy's auto chain frequently offers rebates that brings the per bottle price to $1.99). Wife's 06 4Runner has it now as did her 03. Switched to WalMart syn 65K for my 99 Expy (now 103K) because of the costs. Changed 500 mi to Mobil 1SS in my 06 GT. Not only does GM put Mobil 1 in Vette's, but Viper's, Porsche's, Aston Martin's, and BMW's all come from the factory with it as well.

Autoweek has an article that is about the future of the Mustang. And mentions they are considering a sedan version. And also a wagon?

I don't buy it.

They SHOULD build those variants, but if they do, I seriously doubt they'll be naming them Mustangs.

i have a '91 mustang. i just change the oil, fill it with gas and put the car cover on it(garaged). usually start it one time over the winter months and run it for 20 minutes or so including heater. i have had to replace the battery every 6 years. i am in the northeast.

where the heck did you find that?

that must be somebody's custom job, is my guess (could be photshopped, for all i know). I wonder how the tail works. looks like it still lifts like a regular trunklid, making the back space not nearly as useful as a real wagon.

MUSTANG AND SNOW ???????? I don't think that's even a good idea. The Mustang is a rear light car. They have never been good in snow and I doubt they ever will be. Get a beater, store the Mustang and seriously reconsider trying to drive it in the snow.

Water Soaked Lemons by h8mstng

****** TO ANYONE THAT SUFFERS FROM ANY KIND OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PROBLEMS OR A MUSTY / MILDEW SMELL IN THEIR 2005-2007 MUSTANG ****

These problems are more prevelant after it has rained or even after going through the car wash. Remove the passenger side sill plate cover and the kick panel (they just pull off). Pull the carpet back and check the floor, carpet and surrounding areas THOROUGHLY for water or dampness. Also check behind the smart junction box and wiring harness located under the kick panel. Carefully check the area under the junction box too (sharp edges).

I have had to Lemon Law my 2005 Mustang Convertible because of a leak problem. There are sections between the dashboard, "A" pillar and firewall that have not been properly sealed. This allows water in and results in the junction box and wiring harness becoming water soaked. Obviously, electronics do not like water. Ford thinks that by sealing this MANUFACTURING defect the car is magically fixed. If your car has this leak now, didn't it leak from the time it left the factory ? How long did your car sit on Ford's shipping lot or the Ford dealership lot collecting water before this leak was found ? How long was water allowed to drip on this junction box and wiring harness. (In my case it was over a year. I only found it because I made a mistake and left my normally "garage kept" Mustang in the rain for 2 days. The 3" of water in the passenger side was kind of a give away.) *My selling dealership SWEARS they never had a water problem with the car while it was on their lot (you can stop laughing now).

For 4+ months now my has car reeked of mildew, has mold growing in it, on warm days gets a layer of condensation on the inside of all the windows and still suffers from intermittent electrical problems (which the dealer just can't seem to find). Ford says the car is fixed, but the mildew smell is so bad even Ford dealerships will not take the car as a trade in because of suspected water damage. I no longer consider this car safe to drive as the electrical system has been water contaminated for an unknown period of time and I have no idea what safety equipment may have or may not have been affected. But somehow I really don't want to find out the hard way.

Ford will not help you with this problem. Their attitude has been, "yeah we didn't seal a seam, but it's sealed now so the car is ALL BETTER". Then they send you on your way. I don't know about you, but on the sticker I didn't see anything about "comes with passenger side that may or may not leak". It's not what I paid for.

Current owners just be aware this is something to check when you have any kind of electrical problems. (Search the internet for "2005-2007 Mustang water leaks" you will find that this is NOT an isolated incident. There are starting to be numerous reports of this problem.)

In case you didn't know, when you bought your Mustang you got a Ford taillight warranty. Once they can't see your taillights anymore the warranty is over.
