The V6 with "Exterior Appearance" also has a door strip but it is slightly different from the Pony package stripe.

The only well to tell is by lookinag at the grill if you didn't see a chrome corral surrounding the pony with small fog lights">, it wasn't a pony package.

In regard to the "base GT", my dealer doesn't order any. All the GTs we have are at least $29k MSRP.

The MOST expensive V6 mustang is still under 25k. Half are under 24k.

Mark.

A comparable GT Premium with the same options as my Pony Pkg is $29,170. I bought mine in December 2005 and GT's only sold at MSRP with no X plan pricing. I bought my V6 on X plan for $21500.

Quite the difference in price. The V6 is quick enough for me and the ~8k difference was significant enough to go to not worry about HP. There is always another version with more HP so price was choice.

I bought my GT Premium in March with X plan pricing and paid closer to 21,500 than 29,170. Glad you are enjoying yours as I am mine.

agreed. Prices definitely came down once supply for GT's caught up to demand.

If purchasing today I would go GT. But in 2005 the price spread was significant.

We can all enjoy the ride no matter the HP.

I'm thinking of getting a 06 or 07 GT but wanted to know how it is in the snow? I not asking about 1 foot of snow but 1 to 4 inches. I don't want to change tires, this will be my daily driver. I live in Philly and we get some snow each year.

Thanks

It's rear wheel drive. You might need snow tires if you plan on a lot of driving in snow.
