Replying to: mschmal (Sep 25, 2006 9:51 am) I test drove both the GT and the V-6. I'm pretty sure the V-6 I test drove had the pony package because I remember not liking the door stripe. From my test drive, I can tell you there was no comparison and I ended up with the GT. Not saying the V-6 is not a good car, just didn't delight me enough. Hope you are enjoying yours.

The V6 with "Exterior Appearance" also has a door strip but it is slightly different from the Pony package stripe. The only well to tell is by lookinag at the grill if you didn't see a chrome corral surrounding the pony with small fog lights">, it wasn't a pony package. In regard to the "base GT", my dealer doesn't order any. All the GTs we have are at least $29k MSRP. The MOST expensive V6 mustang is still under 25k. Half are under 24k. Mark. |

Replying to: gzgtp (Sep 25, 2006 10:42 am) Quite the difference in price. The V6 is quick enough for me and the ~8k difference was significant enough to go to not worry about HP. There is always another version with more HP so price was choice.
