| Regular cab work truck, 4x4, automatic, long box, a/c, cruise, V-6, AM-FM. Sticker price $23,625 minus Chevy rebate $3,500 minus dealer incentive $1,763 minus trade $500 equals $17,862. Need to know if this is a good price. Thanks! | |
| purchased new 2004 LS, shortbed regular cab, 5.3, trailer pkg, heavy duty sus., folding mirrors, reduntant steering wheel controls, alum. wheels, 255/60r.16 tires, fog lights, automatic, (list 26,988) dealer cost 22090 less 3500 gm rebate, less trade (2002 rado, 29000 miles), less 1850 dealer rebate. I gave 3100 differance. GOOD or BAD????????? | |
| 2002 rado. Was it a LT? | |
| basically the same as the '04 except no folding mirrors, redundant steering wheel controls, had 4.8 engine and was an LS. The '04 also has locking diff. | |
| No matter how I add it up it doesn't come out. Must be missing some options or something. Oh well. | |
I have a 99 GMC Sierra and i have been looking at the 1500 Crew Cab since March or so when they came out. Well I finally went looking today and drove one (had the wife's car getting some damage looked at) I brought my truck back, i took a test drive etc... Well The sticker is $39130! But it has everything 6 Disk with XM, Onstar, Leather, Turn signal Mirrors and is that really nice Sport Red! After trade in of $10500 (i have alot of miles on my 99) and $3000 owner loyalty we are down to $25630. Not bad but I won't go over 48 months and the monthly payment is really steep! I'm not sure what to do, it's really nice to not have a truck payment and the wife just got a new car so she keeps telling me "no you can wait another year or two" but i don't think i can! I trust the dealership, i buy everything there except for my last truck whata you all think?

Replying to: fanofgm (Jun 29, 2004 6:17 pm) I went through the same thing when I was considering trading in my '99 for an '02 CC. No regrets and the better half finally agreed it is the better truck. You only live once - Good luck. |

try being a fan of the Ford F150 it's flat out the better truck and you can get them for $8,000 off MSRP at the end of the month (or now if you can haggle) I drove the Silverado first, was even eligible for the GM family discount (joke) and passed for the F150. At least take a test drive. |
