Look at this example.   For a base 2009 Corolla, 1.8L 4-cyl, 5-Speed Manual, these are today's listed prices in Canada and USA:   CANADA (BC) MSRP $14,835.00 Administration Fee Included Documentation Charge N/C Lien Registration Fee Not Applicable Freight and Delivery $1,270.00 Battery Levy $5.00 Tire Levy $25.00 TOTAL for Finance/Cash CAN $16,135.00   USA (CA): base price $15,350 Delivery, Processing & Handling Fee $720 MSRP US$16,070   With the Canadian dollar at US $ 0.89, today's Corolla price in Canada comes to US$14,360.   Better buy quick (if you can) -- or maybe wait a few more days if you think the Canadian dollar will continue to drop (but if it does, be prepared for sudden price increases in Canada).
