I recently got two quotes.......for a new Highlander LTD

Halifax = $48,000
Boston = $34,000

I know it is difficult to purchase/import a "new" vehicle individually. Has anybody had any recent success:
1. working with a US dealer directly, or
2. Purchasing the vehicle through a broker

The difference in price is unbelieveable.......help

Any problem with address mismatch? by boyao

Finally I bought an Acura MDX after I provided a vaild US address to the dealer. I've received all documents I need including MCO, Bill of Sale and recall letter. So as you know, all these documents are under my name but with US address. The car is still in the states, and I schedule to pick it up next week. Now I am really concerning whether there will be address mismatch problem when I export it from US to canada. This morning when I submited the original MOC to US vehicle export office in Ogdensburg port, NY, the officer asked me to bring in my driver license and passport when the vehicle is shown up. What if they find the address in the documents mismatch the address in my canadian driver license? Could someones give me some opinion? Did anyone export cars from that port? Any problem so far? I would really appreciate you guy's help. Thanks alot in advance.

I just signed the petition. It makes sense and it will help. We all know the government responds to these petitions. In fact in the Bumper harmonization text on the governement site, they mention the consumer group (CWB) that submitted a petition of 1,400 names. If we don't sign, write or complain - things will not change. In politics, the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

On Toyota garantees, this one is very clear. I have a US 2008 Prius and my book clearly states that the warranty is honoured in Canada and US - I would be pleased to fax or scan a copy of my book for anyone in doubt. It is also stated on Toyota's Web Site - so you should not worry about that one.

Hello all. I just wanted to post this in case anyone is interested. I together with a partner run a car and parts export business overseas for a number of years. We are just starting to looking into the possibilities of exporting to Canada. We are bonded and get cars with MSO and will sell to Canada. We can either do all the paper work for you or simply provide you with the car and you do all the paper work. We are either willing to self deliver the car to you OR arrange for the car to be delivered. We deal with ALL dealers, American, Japanese, German, etc.
Depending on options of the car, and the car itself, we get most of the cars below MSRP.
If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email at: 4autopartsgmail.com

Thank you
D
