Wisconsin deal by fastfingers2

I just ordered a 2007 RAV4 V6 4x4 in Wisconsin. I ordered the limited with:

leather, heated seats, JBL, moonroof, side airbags, tow prep package, mudguards, towing receiver hitch and got it for 28,500.

Now we'll see how long it takes. I was told by the dealer it could take up to three months.
Limited models are pretty non-existent up here so I finally decided to order one.

Hi all, I posted my message earlier but can't find it. My question is How much would be the extended warranty 7 years 75,000 wear and tear. I end up buying one but feel its a bit too high. cost me 40/ month for five years. by the way gap insurance is included to that price.

Thanks,
Flo64

I know this sounds crazy. Is there such thing cancelling the car you order? although I already signed contract but haven't pick up the car yet. I found out on the paperworks when I got home the salesman cheated. The money that I'm supposed to save they added it to the total price which I did not catch it and I trusted them but so much for that. He over charged me close to 400.00 I am really mad that I would like to cancel that order. Please help.

You can change your mind as long as you haven't driven the car off the lot. Did you have to put down a deposit to order? The extra $400 might be to transport the car from another dealer or advertising fees. Either way they are too high, and should have told you beforehand. If they have already transported the car, then you might be out that deposit, find out for sure. But I would call them ASAP.

No did not put anything down but I applied a loan trough them and it was approved and signed it, I feel so stupid. I did not think they would do that to me. Or can I tell the salesman to redo the paperwork or I will use my own bank to finance my car? So stressful.

Thanks again.

$24,673 + TTL. options - 6 disk cd changer, towing prep, daytime running lights, option package A (floor mats, tire warranty, etc.). No trade-in. Star Toyota in League City, Texas. Salesman was professional and and seemed straight forward. I think I got a resonable deal. It should be ready for pickup Monday morning

P.S. These little SUVs haul a$$

Also in WI - just ordered a new Rav4 Limited 4X4 4cyl with 6 CD changer, Electric moon roof, electric seats, dual climate control, etc (no leather, or mudguards tow hitch/prep) for $25,400. No trade-in - their offer was horrible.

I was told 30-60 days. Wilde Toyota in Milwaukee.

Now need to decide about extended warranty. What is everyone finding out for prices? I learned they can negotiate price. I'm considering the highest mileage one ($120,000) since I put lots of miles on my car commuting.

Thanks

About the extended warranty:

I got the highest one 100,000 miles for $800. They were trying to sell it to me at $1200. I guess you would lower the price of the warrenty as well.

Flo,

You can change your mind. Go back and tell them that was NOT the deal, and if they don't fix it then deal is off. I'm sure they rather have a deal, even if they make $400 less. After all they are still making another 2% after they sell you the vehicle. Don't let them fool you or intimidate you.
