Looks like toyota is running 0% APR as well $500 cashback. Does anyone know whether they both can be combined? I dont see any text in the website saying only one can be availed.
Also a request to recent RAV4 owners/negotiators from Seattle side - Please do post the dealerships that were pleasant/least expensive to deal with.
thanks

Well it looks like the NYTC dealers think I am nuts with asking for $500 below invoice.
But I found via this Fitzgerald Motors in Maryland and Pa via this Forum and they are listing an online price of $27,566 on a invoice of $28,807 with a MSRP of $31,563.
This delearship was mentioned by someone earlier and their site is good and I have spoken with 2 salemen who promise these are OTD prices. The one in Maryland is 3 hour drive and Pa is 4-5 hours drive but so far $800 cheaper than anyone local

I live in eastern PA and also in the market for an '08 Rav. I was following your post regarding Fitzgerald Lakeforest Toyota in Gaithersburg MD. I went out to the Toyota website and the link to Fitzgerald's websites in both MD and Chambersburg, PA came up with a blank page. I'm assuming but not certain if both of these dealerships are linked to each other. I don't know if this is a temporary website problem or if something fishy is taking place. Any advice?

rupter,
What are your sources for the manufactuer cash back programs that you are quoting? I have not seen any documentation stating that manufactuer rebate programs are in place for the RAV4. There was $500 cash back which ended 7/31/08. Have not seen anything advertised since that time for the northeast. My zip code is 18052. I am in the buyers market as well.
Thanks

I was able to track down the Fitzgerald website through Yahoo search. Prices do look attractive but wondering if there is manufacturer to dealer incentives hidden in the internet pricing. Also, do you know if there is add-ons for document fees? Obviously, tax & title are extra but I believe I read in earlier post that they provided a $99 credit and charged $15 for a temp tag for out of state purchases. May have to check them out if there willing to find a specific vehicle for me as there present inventory does not show my RAV of interest. Also noted that they had a few 2009's in their inventory. First dealership that I came across that had 2009's and these were advertised at $100 below invoice.

Click on this link. I have gained a lot of knowledge here, and have gotten a local dealer who started at $29,455 down to $28,200 and I told him I would get back to him .
Go to their new cars and fill out what type of Rav you want
They list MSRP, INVOICE, VIN #s etc. I have gone to site 4 times today

Was your $99 processing fee part of Fitzgerald's posted internet price or was that an additional line item? Anything happen in the last few days to change your opinion for dealing w/ Fitzgerald's. Only thing I would like to find out is if their internet pricing included any manufacturer to customer rebates or manufacturer to dealer incentives.

Just go to Toyota's website and select shopping tool/local specials..and type in your zipcode. Your zipcode states $500 cashback, and it looks like 0% for 36 months..they can be combined now?

Friggan NY again....it's another world up there!! Now you are talking Mazda..that's $4000 under MRSP if I am reading your numbers right. Why do you say $800 less than what you are getting locally? If you can wait until October..you will be able to get them for even less..maybe? But you are going to lose your choices of color and features, because people will be buying them quickly with the deals availible..and you might lose some incentives like financing and cashback. I am sure the prices they are quoting you include cash back deals. But who cares? You want the vehicle at the best possible price.
I would make sure the car that they are quoting is on the up and up. Man..that sounds good so far!
