Replying to: roland67 (Aug 19, 2008 4:40 pm) There was a $500 rebate during the month of July but you are correct, it appears to have been eliminated for August. I'm hoping Toyota reintroduces a northeast rebate on 2008 models after this this National Sales Event promotion ends on 9/2. Per the press release, the 2009 models should be on the dealer lots by mid-Spetember. This hopefully will trigger new rebates. The 2009 Sport without the spare tire mounted on the rear is certainly appealing although I'm not sure how keen I am on the run-flat tires. Expensive to replace and limited tire selections. So, I'm holding tight until the new models show up next month in hopes of catching a better deal on an '08 and see what they are offering on an '09 (if anything)

Replying to: bfmken (Aug 10, 2008 8:10 pm) I am wondering how come you got 22,500 whereas the invoice price is 23,166 (with all those options)   I am searching for a RAV4 with Third row and most of the toyota dealers are offering 400-500 above invoice. What's your experience, should I bargain to get below invoice or just force them to come to invoice price.   Thanks in advance

Hello all, I have been reading thru the posts looking for anyone who has purchased in the SW Florida area ? I think I am going to Ft Meyers to buy ,instead of Naples. I need a rav4 with a factory tow pkg . I would include SE Florida in your bids to give you more wiggle room when talking about pricing. Besides, if you can get $1,000 off here, it might be worth the drive. That is for the C option at the Toyota site and the salesman said on the phone the Invoice or MSRP is $30,400 or so. Firts questionis, is the Invoice the same as the MSRP ? I am new to buying a new car and am not familiar with terminology.  He says the Limited come loaded with JBL 6 Cd radio, heated seats, Tow hitch prep, leather interior , large wheels ,climate control ,sunroof. Anything mssing ? and is this a good price. He said he does not have the car but he can get it in a reasonable time .  To me this is just a starting point Any info, advice would be appreciated .
