Replying to: ilufx (Nov 08, 2004 8:26 pm) I call Coleman Infiniti in Bethesda, MD and offer $1000 under invoice on an 04 FX35. The manager immediately laughs, then starts screaming about how I offended him. he tells me how ridiculous I am for even asking. He goes on to sas I must be desperate because I called all the way from Virginia (this proves his ignorance as Bethesda is 10 miles away from Arlington, VA) He continues saying NO ONE in the entire coutry got that deal, and everyone on this website is a LIAR. He told me that he already has 05s (3 of them) and the 04s will not last. (more proof of his ignorance because if the 04s were so valuable, why would Infiniti have to give him a $1500 incentive?) This was totally unprovoked by the way. i just said "hey, don't get offended, if you have to say no- just say no" and politely hung up. stay away.

Replying to: ltmarks (Nov 09, 2004 1:28 pm) so... 10 minutes later another salesman called me, saying that he overheard the manager screaming into teh phone, and that was the assistant sales manager. he said he called the actual sales manager and guess what "just for me they will do the deal for $1000 under invoice"!!! Talk about good cop/bad cop. So I guess now I'm supposed to feel special that I got this great deal and they came to my rescue from the mean assistant sales manager. |

Anyone have any recent experience with leasing a 2004 versus a 2005? Any comments? Should I expect the same pricing on a lease for the vehicle? I am looking at a 2004 with tour, tech. (perhaps) and sport here in Atlanta. The dealer I am working with has about ten 04's left and has gotten 05's on the lot. However there is a dealership in the burbs that has about 40 04's with 05's on the lot. Maybe a better deal there? Any comments would be appreciated.

Replying to: mtmikey (Nov 14, 2004 7:34 am) My cap cost was 39,255 ($1000 under invoice) for 42 months. Only $99 documentation fee. Bank fee was $550. Money factor was .00178 (4.2% APR not bad). My monthly payments are $512 per month, but that is with rolling the tax into the monthly payment to lower my initial out of pocket expenses. if you pay tax up front, mothly payments should be around $480 I think. When I left the dealer swore on the holy bible that the $1500 could not be used for the lease. Of course I don't believe them, but another dealer told me this also.
