Greetings islamorada1. Through September 4th, Lexus Financial Services' buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a base 2006 LS 430 with 12,000 miles per year are .00150 and 48% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier. The money factors for the Custom Luxury and Ultra Luxury models would be the same, but the residual values for the aforementioned lease would be 45% for the Custom without Pre-Collision and 43% for the Ultra without Pre-Collision.

#586 of 592 New 2005 LS430 Ultra

I have found a 2005 LS 430 Ultra at the dealer and I would be interesetd in the great deal they should offer on this vehicle. What would be the most advantageous lease terms, 10-12k miles a yr, 2-4 years? What terms would give me the best MF and RV? How deep of a discount should this "new" 2005 ultra be offered at? This seems like a unique situation that should be to the buyers advantage.
Thanks

Hi mr2ryan83. Wow, this one must have been sitting on the dealer's lot for a loooong time. I assume that you are talking about a 2005 LS 430 that is still technically considered to be a new "car." Lexus Financial Services is no longer providing lease support on 2005 models. You may be able to lease this car through an independent bank, but I'm not sure what its lease program would be like at this point. Its residual values are going to be pretty low. You probably would be better off negotiating a huge discount on this car and financing it through an independent bank using a conventional auto loan.

I find the easiest way to find approximate residuals for off-lease cars is to look at a similar model on Swapalease.com, that is nearing the end of term. Not sure if there will be enough examples of the LS430 to get a read on it, but you might try that.
It's hard to find historical residuals.. unless there is data in this discussion from 2004.

thanks kyfdx,
I will check that out.I was thinking that a web site that matched buyers with lease ending sellers would be a good idea. The buyer could pay a slight premium over what the lessors buyout and still do better than buying it from a dealer who took it back.A win win.
thanks for reply,

Hi Carman:
I am looking to lease a used 05 430 with only 13k mi. Asking price is $44500 but it will probably come a little cheaper - I hope! I am being shown a 48mo/12k/ .00212 MF with ~ $17500 residual from a National Lease service. Does it look like a good deal and what should the residual and monthly note be on this deal? Thanks -Stick
