In four months I will be coming off lease of my second Lexus and i am considering the option of a third Lexus. I have had the RX and the ES and thought that I would treat myself and jump up to the LS. I continue to be impressed with Lexus' superior quality and outstanding experience with the dealer service department for almost seven years. The problem I have is with the sales department of this particular dealership. Despite some long term stability within the sales department, neither of my previous sales reps are with the dealership. Whenever I walk through the showroom, I immediately sense a nauseating elitist attitude that really turns me off. A few years ago I recommended the dealership to a relative and a close friend. Both were so turned off with the attitude that one bought an Audi and the other bought from another Lexus dealership 40 miles away. That said, I now have to decide where I want to lease my next Lexus. I can't understand how the owner of the dealership can have such a diverse attitude climate under the same roof. I am not a hard person to please. I just want a fair deal minus the attitude. What would happen if I leased thru another dealer or broker? I suspect that I would no longer receive the warm and fuzzy feeling from the same service department that is only 12 miles away. Can someone help me sort thru this. Thank you.

from NYC to Sarasota, the BMW service dept. treated me the same as the one in NYC. The only difference is they have a policy that if you didn't buy or lease the car with them, you have to pay for a loaner through a rental car agency they work with. The hot chocolate and cookies in unlimited supply were never denied me in Sarasota and the service reps. were courteous and business-like just like in NYC. Business is business-they wil fix your car regardless of where you purchased it. |

| Well, fortunately, my Lexus dealer didn't charge me for my rental, not even the gas. | |
