Replying to: tedebear (Jun 18, 2008 8:43 pm) Took delivery last night of our 2008 GC SXT, Sunburst Orange, only option was the roofrack. Here's the breakdown: MSRP=27140 + 150 (Sunburst Orange) + 250 (roofrack) + 770 (delivery) = 28310 PP (Family & Friends price) = $26240 PP Admin Fee = $75 Dealer Processing Fee= $100 MD Sales Tax= $1584.90 MD MVA Fees= $274 Dodge/Chrysler Rebate= -$2500 Dodge/Chrysler Coupon= -$750 ___________________________________ TOTAL= $25023.90 I didn't feel like b Since I got it at the PP price, I got a copy of the dealer invoice. Now I know why both you and I were calculating the PP price wrong. I got approximately the same price that you did - $25,725. But my invoice has some other items on it: $25 for Chrysler Owner Loyalty Mail $14 for 5 additional gallons of gas $210 for Washington Metro - PPA/EB-PF $280 for Washington Metro DAA Edmunds doesn't have these things on their listings when they show invoice price. What in the world are all of these additions??? I live in Baltimore, MD, but the vehicle came from a dealer that is about 2/3 of the way between Baltimore & DC. Do they charge regional prices too? And where the H is my 5 extra gallons of gas that I didn't get? What, were they supposed to give it to me in a gas can or something? |

When the vehicle is going down the assembly line the production operator presses a certain button for regular fill or another one that dispenses an extra 5 gallons of gas, depending on the code that pops up on the screen when the vehicle gets to his/her station. There's even another one for diesel fuel. If your tank wasn't full it might be due to driving it around because of the transfer from another dealer. If you go back and mention it I'm sure the dealer would top it off.. I don't know about all those other codes. You might try a Google search and see what it finds.

Replying to: snoopy71 (Jun 20, 2008 3:48 pm) Send it to me too. I thought Chrysler was making all their dealerships convert to the multiple brand platforms (Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep) and, except for Tator's somewhere on the east coast, I didn't think there were any single brand dealerships left. |

Replying to: tedebear (Jun 20, 2008 9:30 am) The $25 YDH Chrysler Owner Loyalty mail fee, I have no idea what it is. The $14 YGE 5 Additional Gallons of Gas fee - This is BS ... They claim that you get a free tank of gas, but in actuality, they charge you for the first 5 gallons. I found other Dodge/Chrysler vehicles where they charge you for the first 7 gallons. The $210 B05 Washington Metro - PPA/EB-PF fee & $280 T05 Washington Metro DAA fee are both some kind of regional advertising fees that Chrysler charges the dealer. So just be aware that when Edmunds, KBB, Consumer Reports, or any other online service gives the dealer invoice of a vehicle, that doesn't include these other BS fees. |

I have been really researching for a few weeks.....my husband and I really want to lease a new 2008 TC..it is a touring w this package that we really want: ENTERTAINMENT GROUP #2 -inc: MyGig multimedia system ParkView rear back-up camera single disc DVD player 2nd & 3rd row 8" video screen video remote control wireless headphones the msrp says: 31180 the sale price they are giving us is: 29617 and the with rebates: the sale price is 26911 this does not seem like a very good deal???? we say they need to come down off the sticker price of 29617, but they wont..they say it is as low as they can go??? I do not believe this when I see peopel getting thousenads off of MSRP....he is a young kid that does not know much and whenever I ask questions he has to go ask the "other guy" getting sick of this!!!!! also the quote is then 409.70/mo w 1000 down. this si for 12000miles/36 months the money factor is .00148 (but this is a quote for top tier) I have ready top tier should be .00077??? also the residual they stated is 15,960 this includes 700 acquisition fee and he "thinks" no security deposit..lol tell me what all you think of this...ps this is the dealership that everyone raves about but I am thinking no???? do I go onto the next chrysler lot?? or keep haggling w them?

Replying to: marisakay123 (Jun 26, 2008 9:18 am) as for the money factor, i have it at 0.00154 for 36 month leases with a residual of 50% (for 12k/yr). The only vehicle i see that has the 0.00077 money factor is the Aspen. have you ever thought about getting the signature series T&C? it has the entertainment group (free of charge) and a lot of better goodies (MYGIG, heated seats, remote start, window shades, sliding console, TPMS, Backup Camera, & EVIC) for not that much more than what you would be paying for a touring with entertainment....just a thought.
