The first 5 people who want one can email me at my carspace.com address (membername I need the information listed below so he can register you and generate a control number. Don't post it here but if you email it to me I will forward everything to him. Also, if you want to know what the Friends discount price will be on a specific vehicle (doesn't just have to be a minivan) you can look up the invoice price on Edmunds. The Friends discount is 1% below invoice plus any rebates or other incentives. Here's what I need: 1. First and last name 2. Complete mailing address (street, city, state, zip) 3. Phone number 4. Date of birth 5. SSN (last 4 digits only) 6. Email address you'd like the control number sent to 7. Vehicle you're interested in (T&C, Grand Caravan, Sebring, Viper, etc.) The Friends discount number is valid for the entire 2008 calendar year. |

Picked up my new 2008 Silver fully loaded Town & Country on Thursday. Got home parked in driveway and started playing with seats, tables, MyGig, etc. We then went out for a drive to pick up my daughter from work. When we got home I parked it further up the driveway and then noticed about a 1 foot diameter oil spot from where I was parked before. I checked under the car and sure enough a drip came down. I called the dealer and she said she could give me an appointment on Monday. I said the car is brand new!, only had it a few hours!. She said she was told not to make any more appointments for Friday. I asked to speak to the manager. She asked for my number so he could call me back. I then spoke with the salesman who said of course bring it in tomorrow (Friday). The manger finally did call back and he said the same. So Friday 7:00 I was there. They said it might not take long so I could wait. An hour later they said it will take longer than they had expected it should be fixed by Monday or Tuesday and that they would call Enterprise and rent me a car. So now I went from top of the line Town & Country to bottom of the line PT Crusier. Now Monday I called and they said most likely Tuesday. I said what are you doing replacing the engine? Something about order a part, came in Saturday, and the guy who does that (“what is that”) won’t be in to later. I called the salesman, who looked into it and pretty much got the same answer. I still don’t know what exactly is wrong. I had a similar (leak) with a brand new Mercedes, they fixed it (about 4 hours) and never another problem, so hopefully the same here. So hopefully I will get my car back tomorrow (I’ve had it about ½ a day, Chrysler has had it 5 days) and needless to say I am not happy!!! |
