That is in addition to the 6 Friends discount numbers they can give out to anyone. Here is a list of who is eligible for the EP program: All Chrysler active full-time and part-time Employees/Retirees. Immediate family members including spouse, same-sex domestic partners,* parents, parents-in-law, stepparents, sons/daughters, sons/daughters-in-law, stepchildren, brothers/sisters, brothers/sisters-in-law, half brothers/sisters, grandchildren and grandparents. |

I was quoted an MSRP of 35905 for a touring 08 25M package, sirius TV, security package, and mygig NAV. The price of the Dealer invoice was 33,387. I had someone offer me a friends discount. The dealer quoted me friends price of 33053. Doesn't seem to be that big a difference off of the MSRP. Some of the other prices seem to be 5-6K below MSRP. Does this price seem correct? Thanks for any help.

Replying to: staciy (Jan 07, 2008 2:58 pm) Indeed it is. Here is the Friends discount price for the 08 Touring with the options you listed. Since you didn't provide your zip code I used one in the St. Louis area, where one of the minivan assembly plants is located. MSRP stays the same but discount prices and rebates vary by region. MSRP: $35,905 Friends: $30,898 The above Friends discount includes a current $1,500 rebate which expires on 02/29/2008. The discount price quote is provided as an estimate only. Ask the dealer to show you the actual invoice which shows the exact PP (Preferred Pricing Friends) discount on it. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions and I'll be glad to help if I can. |

Hi - Just came across this site. My wife and I are interested in 2008 Chrysler T&C. I see lots of references to EC pricing, EC discount, Friends pricing. What's that all about? Any info appreciated.

Any rebates or other price incentives are subtracted from the Friends discount for even more savings. All Chrysler employees are permitted to give out up to 6 Friends discounts per calendar year to anyone. There is no charge to obtain one. All 6 of mine have already been given out but ask around. |

They tried some unscrupulous tactics on someone I gave a Friends discount number to. Fortunately, he saw the light and is looking elsewhere. I'll let him post the dealer name if he wants to, since I was not directly involved. If the dealer agrees to sell a customer a vehicle at the Friends discount, that price is printed right on the invoice. There is no additional program fee for the Friends discount and definitely no $500-$600 marketing fee added on. What you see on the "PP" (Preferred Pricing) code on the invoice is what you pay, plus up to $75 for a doc fee that everyone pays. |

Replying to: lctiger (Jan 13, 2008 2:15 pm) Okay, although I'm personally out of Friends discounts for the rest of the year a co-worker told me the other day that he still has 5 left and is willing to share. The first 5 people who want one can email me at my carspace.com address (membername I need the information listed below so he can register you and generate a control number. Don't post it here but if you email it to me I will forward everything to him. Also, if you want to know what the Friends discount price will be on a specific vehicle (doesn't just have to be a minivan) you can look up the invoice price on Edmunds. The Friends discount is 1% below invoice plus any rebates or other incentives. Here's what I need: 1. First and last name 2. Complete mailing address (street, city, state, zip) 3. Phone number 4. Date of birth 5. SSN (last 4 digits only) 6. Email address you'd like the control number sent to 7. Vehicle you're interested in (T&C, Grand Caravan, Sebring, Viper, etc.) The Friends discount number is valid for the entire 2008 calendar year. |
