That was probably a good deal. However, I am still reeling over our purchase in May. In mid May, we purchased a 2007 Town & Country Limited with a list price of $39,200. At an Aurora, Colorado, dealership, we received the Chrysler $4,500 price incentive plus an additional $2,701 dollars off by the dealer. No negotiating. Final price of $31,999 was very close to the price we paid for our 1998 T&C LXI. I had intended to wait for the 2008 but could not pass that deal up. |

Dear People, I am planning to by a minivan, it is my pleasure to get your suggestion, that, why I should pick up Town & County '07 limited and what would be the final price?

My wife and I are just starting to think about a new van. Thinking that the 2007 Chryslers would be heavily discounted, we looked at an 07 Limited Model with DVD and side airbags. Has anyone purchased an 07 Limited lately and have any comments to share? Also, any idea what a good price for a 2007 Limited would be, especially since it is sitting on the lot between two 2008's!!

We purchased our T&C on eBay last year from a seller whose username is ramscoenterprises. So far we've been very pleased. There were features that were important to us, and some that weren't that in retrospect I wish I'd held out for. We bought it right at a year ago in October 2006. According to the paperwork, its manufacture date was February 06. It had been owned by a business in OK, and had 8,000 miles on it. It was the base model, and did have things like a CD player, dual control air, Stow 'N Go, etc. It doesn't have the power doors, something I do think I'd have been glad to have. I especially wanted leather seats (easier to clean!) and a DVD player/screen. That particular seller has those custom installed, which is actually nice (at least the one we have is) because our screen is 10", which is very nice and big. It also swivels... and it did come with wireless headphones. We paid just over $18K for it. He lives in Texas, and there are two states between us. The bid price included free delivery, but when I realized I could fly there one-way for about $100, it would just take one day to drive home, and he'd knock a few hundred off our price, I picked it up myself. It was very easy - they met us with the van at the airport and we were good to go. In the last few weeks it's started making an odd sound that reminds me of a dentist drill. It only lasts 5-10 minutes. If I warm it up before driving it it doesn't make the noise at all. Fortunately, it's still got another 12K miles before the warranty is up! |

Does anyone know if dealers are discounting 08's below invoice?

Replying to: timothyf (Oct 05, 2007 6:21 am) Hope you're as happy with your T&C Limited as I've been thus far with my Sebring. The MyGIG system with voice activated commands and the GPS navigation is way cool. |

Got myself a red 07 T & C for 14950 + tax . We also had credit card incentive of about 900 for a new car, reducing the price to about 14k+tax. Just the base model, nothing fancy, short wheel base, as we did'nt need the extra space and is easier to park in the garage. We'll see how it works out in the long run, plan to keep it forever like (> 10 yrs) we did with the other cars we had. The 08s are nicer, but they aren't discounting them yet. |
