| I'm beginning to wonder about dealer pricing. I've priced 3 vans- all msrp of 35-36k. All 2009 tourings. I've gotten 26.5, 29.5, and 31k as the quoted prices. The 29.5 and the 31k guys, when told of the 26.5 offer, both responsed that their offer was as low as they could go and that maybe the other dealer was doing a bait-n-switch? It just seems odd since it seems that 26.5 is about what others have gotten on this forum. Sure it isn't apples to apples, but is seems that 10k off isn't unheard of on this forum. What gives... | |

Hi folks, This board has been very helpful as I looked for a 2009 Town and Country Touring the last couple months. Just purchased a 2009 28M Touring, with a 4.0 engine, and uconnect gps for $26,200. The orginial MSRP for this was $36,110. For those of you unfamiliar, the 28M package is the Anniversary edition. This also includes the remote start. I am extremely pleased so far! and 9,910 off MSRP felt good after all the looking around and negotiating I tried with a variety of dealers. As far as price, my local dealers just could not go down far enough. As "wp746911" said, they just seemed to have no wiggle room whatsoever on lowering the price -- and I felt I tried to beat them up pretty good. My local dealer offered 26,200 for the 25L package on a van. I instead traveled to the Chicago area for the 28M package for the SAME PRICE... so basically traveled for a 4.0 engine, GPS system, remote start system, and all the other goodies in the 28M package. As I said before, I am very pleased thus far. If you are in the Chicago area, or are willing to travel to Chicago for a deal like this.. Shoot me an email. * josh davis 82 at# gmail.*com * a little deciphering needed to avoid the spam bots. We are finally making the move to a minivan since our family is growing. We just got a 2009 T&C Touring 25M package with the upgraded paint (MSRP $34,405) with an advertised employee price (including $1500 customer cash and $1342 off for Anniversary edition/DVD) of $27,248. I also got a direct mail flyer for an additional $500 off. So my final negotiated price is $25,100 plus 7% sales tax and $210 for tax, making my OTD price $27,067. I'm also taking advantage of the 2.9% for 48 months. I checked with a bunch of other dealers from Pittsburgh all the way to Maryland, and none of them could match or beat it. I was warned repeatedly that this must be a bait-and-switch since "they all pay the same price for their vehicles." I'm guessing my guy is trying to make a quota as the end of the month nears, and will get some type of manufacturer bonus if he hits his mark. Did I get as sweet a deal as I think I did? For all my options and upgrades with the 25M, I'd have to shell out $10K+ more for an Odyssey.
