So previously I was looking at the toyota sienna. Its a nice van, but IMHO you pay out the nose for any options- it can be pretty bare. The chrysler is much cheaper for better options so recently I was leaning that way(plus lifetime powertrain). But then with alll this bankrupt stuff, I'm pretty gun-shy. Anyone else? I know the govt says they will honor it... but I'm still pretty nervous... I don't want a 1-2 year old van with no warranty...

The resale value on used Chrysler minis is already low. I had a 2003 Olds Silhouette and its value plunged when GM dropped the Olds line, not that it ever was high.

Replying to: qwikdrip (Mar 30, 2009 7:54 pm) Wow, I'm impressed. What options did you get? I'm feeling like I didn't do so well on my deal. I bought an 09 Town and Country with the following: 28L Package 4.0 engine Security group Premium Group Backseat TV uconnect GPS The MSRP was $38310. We got it for 30,700, and that's before any taxes or doc fees. Did you have to bargain much? Sounds like you got a steal to me. Congratulations. Kevin |

Replying to: nursekev (Apr 03, 2009 7:57 pm) I only got the 25M package, MSRP 34,180, I didn't get all the toys. I didn't really bargain too much, I was happy with 10,000 below MSRP. I guess I've could have done better, but I was satisfied. It seems you've done well. Congrats to you. What/Where is We Buy Cars? I'm looking to get rid of my 2002 Ford Explorer XLT with 51,000 miles. When I went to Honda they offered me only $3000. So, I didn't even bother with Chrysler for a trade-in. I'd appreciate any info, please email me at qwikdrip Thanks, Tommy
