Gary, check the base price of your car to the current base price. That may account for the difference. In the case of my Aspen, the msrp of the car I am working on at the dealership is almost a thousand dollars lower than a car configured with the same options using the link above. That may account for the difference.

I am hoping rmbalisa is online today and can get me that CDI number.

This was part of it, the rest of it was me going to the dealer and telling them I would buy it today if they reduced my price by $300.

Everyone looking for a deal on a 2008 should use the online Chrysler inventory search to find cars that were built before the price increase. In my case, this reduced my price by over $700 vs CDI pricing.

Yes, they have something called "red dot inventory" which can get you an extra $1000 if it was invoiced before a certain date.

Hi rmbalissa, if you are online tomorrow (monday) morning, can you send me the CDi number? I sent you all the needed details to your carspace mailbox. Thanks.

EP Price / Invoice by wrobbins80471

I'm looking to purchase an 09 at EP price and I do have a control number from my grandfather. I was wondering how do I know and can verify that what the dealership shows me is the true invoice with EP pricing on it, and not just something that they printed up. I been running into dealerships that they show me the EP price and I question it by running the options on the EP website for the 08 models and they say "oh i'm sorry I gave you the shipper invoice" this has happened at more then one dealership via email. Right now the EP website only has pricing for 08 models.

Thanks all

If you have a control number you have a right to see the factory invoice. Ask the dealer to show it to you and look for the EP (Employee Price) code on the sheet. That is the price you pay. You can also check the VIN printed on the sheet to verify that it is the correct invoice for the vehicle you are buying.

There are no fees when using the Employee Price program (close relative of an employee), unlike the CDI which adds a $200 program fee. TTL (in some states) is the only other thing the dealer can add to that price. There are no dealer prep, transfer, marketing or other fees. Also, they can add up to $75 for a doc fee.

Any rebates or other price incentives are further subtracted from the EP for even greater savings.
