I agree. probably can save some more money if I can get a CDI number. garymaster, is that what you found as well? Did the CDI number save you some additional money? Any idea how much?

I didn't do a before and after comparison with CDI, but I believe this is going to result in the best price in my area. Currently, I have configured this deal:

2008 T&C Touring Signature
Vehicle 28800
Red Paint 225
25L Package 3520
Navigation 1300
Backseat TV 495
Premium Audio System 795
Destination Charge 770

MSRP: $35905
MY PRICE (w/ ALL fees) $26495 + TAX

That's strange. I still don't have any mail in my garymastercarspace.com mailbox. Is this where you sent it?

I was going to mention that the Carspace website blocks any email from non Carspace sources. I guess it cuts down on the spam.

Traded a Honda Odyssey and never looked back by dvsutton

I just traded in a 06 Honda Odyssey on a new T & C. The Honda had its trans rebuilt twice. Sliding door fell off its track onto my sons foot. DVD player never stopped skipping over the slightest bump. The dash rattled like a bag of marbles was poured down the vents. All of this in the first 22k miles Lucky for me I got the discounts being offered by Chrysler. I think I got $5000 off. I tried the Toyota Sienna before the Chrysler but they did not have Sto and go seats and the sales staff at the Toyota dealership were pretty arrogant (as usual) . My wife wouldn't even look at the Nissan (too wierd, bad quality) but we were looking at the Ford Flex. It was too big though. We both love the Chrysler way more than the Honda already. We haven't had it back to the dealeship yet. Unlike the Honda it was back in the service bay in the first week. I won't be buying anymore Hondas.

Unless you are looking for a 2009, you will not need a CDI number to get CDI prices right now on the 2008 T&C.

Use this procedure:
(1) go to your dealer, bring your check book
(2) say "I want this van [point at van] for the CDI price"
(3) say "look, I brought my check book" [wave check book]
(4) write check for van
(5) wait around while they get the van ready
(6) drive home in new van

Regarding getting the extended warranty at CDI prices, just get a quote from http://www.chryslerwarrantys.com/ - print it out (don't forget to check your email for the additional discount code they send you) and tell them you want it for that price.

bmw,

Send me a PM to my Carspace mailbox. I'll need the following information:

Last four digits of customer’s SSN
First and last name
Home address
Date of birth
Phone number
E-mail address that you'd like the control # sent to
Vehicle that customer is interested in
Vehicle that the customer will be turning in (if any)

So does anyone know what the CDI pricing is for the extended warranty? What is the period and coverage of this extended warranty offer?

I see a lot of talk about getting CDI pricing without having a code, but has anyone here managed to beat CDI pricing on 2008 T&C?

We got our van cheaper than the CDI price - the salesperson showed me a sheet attached to the invoice with the prices printed on them - our price was lower, but only by a couple hundred dollars.

I was able to get the warranty from the dealer for the same price as it is offered online, so I can't help on the CDI warranty price.

They have various packages, for example:
5 to 7 years, 75k to 100k miles, and $0/$50/$100 deductible.

From the website:
  About Maximum Care

Maximum Care is the most comprehensive plan available. It extends your vehicle's powertrain and basic component coverage beyond the 3-year/36,000-mile manufacturer's warranty and covers more than 5,000 components, providing virtually complete mechanical coverage for your vehicle. Maximum Care is an exclusionary plan, often referred to as "Bumper-to-Bumper" and as such if it's not excluded, it's covered. The only parts and labor not covered are:

    * Maintenance services and items used in such services.
    * Glass, plastic lenses.
    * Body and paint items, including soft trim.
    * Wear items such as manual clutch assembly, brake pads, shoes, rotors, drums and belts are not covered at any time.
    * Snow plows, winches and trailer hitches

Plan Benefits

    * $0, $50, or $100 Deductible Per Repair Visit
    * $100 "Sign-and-Go" Towing and Roadside Assistance*
    * $35/First Day Rental*
    * $35/Day Car Rental Allowance*
    * $1,000 Trip Interruption Protection*
    * Auto Valet Concierge Service*
    * One-Time Plan Transfer (except Lifetime plans)

*Maximum term of 7 years/100,000 miles
We got a lifetime bumper to bumper, with a $100 deductible.

Thanks for the info, but now you have me curious: had you negotiated the price before adding the warranty? I believe the warranties continue to be a proffit center for the dealership, so if they sold you the warranty for the full price, they may have been able to artificially give you a lower price on the vehicle.
