| I bought a T&C LX with 50k miles today for $11,500 OTD, including MN sales tax, license (about $300), and doc fees. Traded my 2002 MPV, took $5k cash out of the deal, and got 4.9% for 66 months ($200/month). The price includes 12 oil changes at any Chrysler Corp. dealership (perfect for me since I plan to keep the van no longer than 3 years and 36k miles), a $200 gas card, free mats (van didn't have any), and a zero-deductible powertrain warranty good until 2017 or 100k miles. The van was immaculate and was driven by a Chrysler employee. It has Stow-n-Go but is otherwise faily basic, but meets my needs. Has the 3.3L engine. Only downsides are that it will probably need new tires within a year, there's a scrape on the rear bumper (someone apparently hit a concrete light stand in the dealer's lot), and there was a faint smoke smell which the dealer is de-ionizing right now. | |

| Thanks for the input guys. I am going to go to the dealership this week and see if I can negoitiate a CDI price without the CDI. They do have us at a disadvantage in the sense that we are upside down on the trade...but I look at that as a seperate problem. I will let them tack that onto the price of the vehicle only after we have agreed upon a CDI-ish price. We are in the situation where we can wait a bit so hopefully that will give us the will power to walk out if negotiations don't go our way...eventually we will have to buckle though. | |

I was hoping to stay in the Chrysler family and purchase a new T&C Touring Signature this week... I would be very grateful if anyone here can help by providing a CDI number. Also: Has anyone looked up the T&C Touring Signature CDI price? I am very curious where it falls in the 4-6% that they advertise. Thanks in advance for your help/generosity. I am a new member but will work hard to reciprocate my help in the future. I am well connected in the Automotive industry, but unfortunately not with Chrysler!

Replying to: garymaster (Sep 02, 2008 5:09 am) I just registered you and sent you the CDI code. Let me know that you got it. BTW, how are you connected to the auto industry? Tell me you work for VW As for the Signature series price, with an MSRP of $33090, expect to pay $24869+$200 program fee. This includes an employee discount of $3721, cash allowance of $2500 and CF bonus cash of $2000.

Replying to: garymaster (Sep 02, 2008 5:09 am) You should be able to get a price below the CDI price on the 2008's right now. If you are looking for a 2009, then the CDI will help you. Otherwise, don't bother. The current price in our region is about 2-3% under invoice, then deduct the rebates. |
