Replying to: michaelsmp (Aug 25, 2008 1:46 pm) I've gotten another quote since I posted as well. Here are the cars I was quoted: Dealer #1: $24,947 3.8 engine with leather heated seats. dual DVD, power doors and lift gate. no nav. It is also the one with stow and go. From what I've been told, this looks like it's a signature series where dual DVD was added as an option. Dealer #2: $26,000 T&C Touring edition w/ leather heated seats and dual DVD, other standard features for this edition. From what I've been told, this looks like it's the Touring M series. If I'm right on the configurations, then I'm thinking I may be better off with the Dealer #2 vehicle, as it has more upgraded features for just over $1000 more. |

Yes, I too, feel I paid too much...based on what I'm seeing on-line from others, but I couldn't get them to budge any more on the price. I believe my biggest obstacle was that the only T&C (color & options) I wanted was 200 miles away!...and I finally decided to trade-in my '05 Dodge GC, which I know I could have gotten quite a bit more for if I sold it on my own. When I finally did drive down there last Friday, they knew they had me. BUT...I do love it! Maybe the best thing WE can do is stay off this site (Prices/Buying Experiences). The other site (where I saw your posting yesterday) T&C Club (I think it's called) is pretty interesting as we now belong. |

I found a dealer with the lowest advertised price, which had fine print discounts like lease loyalty, military discount, employee and used that as my starting point. I then added the options I wanted, taxes, fees. I said here's my offer, I'll buy from you right now at this price or I can go somewhere else. I am not a military person, emplyee ot nor was I a current owner. I ended up coming up a few hundred dollars from my original offer. |

Got sold on the Resistall for paint and interior, since we have little kids and I will have this care a "lifetime". The dealership was clueless on the DCI program, tried to give me friends and family pricing. Took over 5 hours to close the deal and I'm still faxing them paperwork on the program. Now I need to get a good price on the bumper to bumper lifetime warranty. They quoted me almost double the cost on chryslerwarrantys.com. Any other tips on getting the best price on the warranty would be helpful. Thanks again Ted E. Bear!

Replying to: abutcher (Aug 27, 2008 5:03 am) If anyone has any extra I will definetely use one. Someone on this board gave me an EC number last year and I saved a ton of money on my lease. I saved over 40 bucks a months on my monthly lease price. So if anyone knows of someone who has an extra CDI number please let me know. P.S. I don't know if this has been posted previously, but if anyone purchases a van with the MYGIG navigation radio make sure you get the updated software via DVD. My radio would occasionally freeze. Very annoying if your somewhere your not familiar with and your depending on the navigation. Ever since I got the update (free from the dealer) I have been trouble free.
