Some people are saying that they may take the rebate out and just have the 0% APR for 72 months or the $2.99 gas deal...

I think for that price, that's a good deal.. see my sold price in previous posts.

If anyone wants to lease a vehicle, better do so by the end of the month. chrysler financial is cutting all lease programs at the end of the month, meaning they will only handle retail and wholesale financing only. so if you want to do a lease, you'll have to find a 3rd party institution to take that risk...

Touring Base MSRP 28,210 vs 28,800? by mctiny

I'm comparing several vehicles and I think that the ones with the lower base MSRP are much older and have been sitting on the lot for several months. Chrysler's website only lists the $28,800 price as of today.

Anybody have any information as to when Chrysler made the switch? Do stickers ever show the date of assembly? The only option which I suspect might be different is the tailgate seating.

I only want to lease, so I have to get a deal done in the next three days. Thanks.

on the inside of the driver door should be the date of assembly, but you are right about the increase of the price sometime midyear. i dont think anything is really different though.

There have been several price changes this year by all the manufacturers. My van (GC SXT) had a base price of 26,840, I think (made in Nov 07). since that time, I have noticed base prices (roughly rounded off) of 27,000, 27,400, 27,800, 28,100 and 28,400. The cost of materials has forced many "hikes" this year.

2008 T&C Touring Price & Dealer by macuser

I finally found 1 T&C equipped close to what I want, but it is about 200 miles from me. MSRP is $31,545. Got a price of $26,880 on the phone. Recently saw it on the Internet for 26,100. When I spoke to them I offered $24,000 because when I bought my 2005 Gr Caravan (May 31, 05) it worked out to be 25% off MSRP.

I haven't been there in person yet...MAYBE next week (Aug.). I also MAY trade in my 05 GC. I, too, am hoping for a larger rebate as it gets closer to 2009s coming out!

Do I have better bargaining power with the dealer who has the car (200 miles away), or can I still get a really good deal if I go through the local dealer (who I bought the Dodge GC from) about 25 miles away? I have not yet told them where the car I want is located.

Any and all advice welcome. Thanx!

My local dealer ~5 miles away was giving me that speech that I should buy from them because if something ever goes wrong w/ the car, they can fix it right there and any service can be done there w/o having to drive further.. Of course, they were trying to screw me too w/ inflating the price of the van.. I end up going to a different dealership outside the state (VA) and since I boughtthe lifetime B2B warranty, i believe I can take it to any Chrysler dealership to get the van fix if anything goes wrong w/ it *knock on wood*.

Actually, it dosen't matter where you buy it from, the Chrysler warranty is good at any dealership. Some try to convince you it has to go back to where it came from, or get testy about service work, but if they give you trouble, complain to Chrysler.

Thanx for the reply.

Yes, I can see that they would try to get u to buy from them, but I believe if it's under warranty I should be able to take it to ANY Chrysler dealer in the country.

BUT...what do u think about the price? What is the lowest u think I MIGHT get it for? what about that F&F I've been reading about?
