2006 Rubicon by tyoshu

As of this morning I finalized the terms on an 06 Solar Yellow Rubicon. I bought it from TradeMark Auto Group (Bryan, TX) and it has been an awesome experience. I live a Houston which is quite a ways from Bryan (120 miles) and did everything via email. I sent in the request, the salesman replied with a quote, I countered and the deal was accepted including 1 yr oil changes and free delivery to my home. I highly recommend this dealership. Cant wait until tomorrow when they drop off my new toy!

2005 X Wrangler by gayjeepboy

I just purchased a 2005 X Wrangler
             MSRP 23995.00
   Purchase Price 15995.00

I highly recommend a 2005 vs a 2006.
1) The 05 has a 7 yr/70K mile warranty vs. the 3 yr. 36K warranty on the 06
2) The bumpers on the 06's are cheapened vs th 05's. They left off the caps and put a plug on each end of the bumper.
3) There is virtually no difference mechanically, interior, etc betwee the two years.
I prrchased min at Rancho Auto Group in San Diego Ca. I hate buying cars and hasseling wit the dealers but thie was the best buying experience I ever had . I highly recommend this dealership.

With 950 miles on it for $17,000. Guy traded it for a Highlander and it had been sitting in his garage for 2 yrs.
He bought it to ship overseas and he never went.

The Toyota dealer saleman is a friend of mine and I got it before they were about to wholesale it. It came with the hardtop and was fully loaded AC the works.

I financed it through my credit union and they gave me a 6 yr. 100k warranty (6yrs. from day of purchase) for $1,700.

I'm thinking of buying an Unlimited and was wondering how much you are able to get off from sticker or under invoice.

Thanks

I went to a dealership today, and though it didnt have a stick and it had a 2nd choice of color i wanted (silver) i test drove it and loved it. he offered me 5k off msrp + incentives. and also I have a trade in, not sure what i should do. seems like a good deal, but are autos in wranglers really worth getting? any suggestions would be great. thanks in advance. mike

Hey there -

I was able to pick up my Unlimted with H package, 6 disk changer, stick, soft top, side steps for 22,500 - and I was given more on my trade by 1500 then other places so 5500 off sticker sounds really good - enjoy and don't settle - if you want the stick find it - I love my stick.

From Huffines in Plano, Tx I got mine + cruise, Sirius, 6 dsk chrg, security, pretty much loaded for 26,300 MSRP of 30,500. Now is the time to buy before the 07s get here.

I was going to wait for an 07, but the more I looked over the changes I decided to get an 06.

Everyone here seems to have bought a rubicon or special edition, so my purchase probably seems insignificant....Anyway, I got an 06 base model wrangler SE totally stock. Paid 15995.00. MSRP is 19500. Invoice on edmonds is 17 something. so I think I did ok.

While top of the range is nice, a base Jeep, especially a cheap Jeep, is definitely better than no Jeep! Sounds like a deal to me.

I have been haggling with 36 dealerships through the internet on a 2007 Wrangler x Unlimited 4x4 base. The invoice is $21,126 and I got them down to $20,450 thats $676 below invoice without any incentives. Is that a good deal or should I keep workin them?
