I just bought a 2005 Wrangler Sport (with 12 miles) and I think I got a good deal. MSRP was $24,245 and Edmunds TMV had it pegged at $22,900 (including the options). I drove it out the lot for $22,000, which included CA taxes and DMV fees. One thing I'm not sure of is whether or not I should've purchased the 60mo/75K scheduled maintenance service contract. I wound up paying $1890 for it. It seemed like a good deal at the time. Any thoughts on this? Thanks! BTW I really love the Jeep (first one) and I've never had so much fun going out on "small" errands (just so I can drive it). I feel as giddy as a 12 year old school girl who just got her first bra LOL. And I'm a 37 year old dude

Will you cover 15k I do my own maintenance and use the 'B' or Severe Service schedule, which means much more frequent servicing than the standard 'A' schedule, and in the last six years/60k I doubt that I've spent $500 in top quality parts and fluids. |

Having a 06 unlimited hardtop, auto, cruise, tilt, fog, ect. delivered next week at 100 over invoice and then also getting the $ 1,500 rebate taken off of that price. It will be my tow for my motorhome. So happy with the deal I'm having it trucked to my house 1,000 miles away for $650 total 22,647 w/o shipping and tax and lic. I'll do tax and lic. in my state. I'm trying to get some current feedback on "out the door" price experiences recently with 06 Rubicon or Rubicon Unlimited to help educate myself before I'm getting in heavy debate with a dealership about 50 miles from my home that has 4 - 6 on the lot. What have they been selling for "out the door" all incintives and rebates included? Any help appreciated. Thanks. Layne |

I have 1100 miles on my unlimited so far and it's great to drive. I have had it in dirt and freeway so far and it's great. it's tracks fine at 70-75 mph. A little wind noise and a few rattles that I'm working on. I think the unlimited has a 3:73 ratio where the rubicon is a 4:13 or something like that so the high end speed would be less for a Rubicon. I bought mine at Dave Smith Motors in Idaho and they sold it to me at $ 90 over invoice but then gave me the 1500 rebate so it was about 1400 under invoice. This is the way Dave Smith does it on all cars. go to Edmunds to get invoice then see what rebated apply add a few hundred and thats what you should be able to get it for. If your not sure of the option package look on the sticker of the jeeps for sale then go back to Edmunds to price them out.
