| I just picked up my brand new Jeep Rubicon from the CarMax location in Norcross, Georgia. They were $1000 less any dealer in the greater Atlanta area and the purchase process was completely painless-- zero nonsense. This is the only location which sells new Jeeps in the US but I'd highly recommend them if you live in Georgia. | |

Some posters reference the "invoice" price (e.g. "I paid $200 over invoice"). How do you know invoice price? Edmunds provides a "TMV" but this is a theoretical value. How does anyone know for sure what the invoice is? Thanks!

Ordered in July it just hit the lot today MSRP $29, 650.00 , horrible service to this point and the sales manager seems to think he is being accomidating by offering 400.00 over invoice for a total of $27,438. does this sound reasonable or should I dog him for a little more? Joe

Replying to: mac24 (Sep 17, 2005 3:33 pm) MSRP $29,560.00 - $2322.00 Employee Discount - $1000.00 Chrysler factory discount - $500.00 Military discount Total to be financed, 25,738.00 I was happy with that and the new rubicon is sitting in my driveway now but thet tried to slip a fast one by me in the paper work. They tried to fool me as I put 500.00 down when I ordered it and they tried to use that in the figures and left out the $500.00 military rebate, of course I caught it!! Beware they are shameless and will do anything tosave a penny!! |

| I have been trying to shop for a used Wangler for almost 2 months and got no luck at all. It is almost impossible to find a ~5-year old Wrangler in overall good conditioned in San Jose area. Most private party' jeeps are 4 cyl, stick shift , very high milage and way above kbb price. Also there are very few from private parties are advertised in local newspaper. I was wondering other parts of the country having similar market conditions? Why there are so few auto trans out there by the way? | |
