Maybe it was just me, but yesterday morning I had messages disappearing and reappearing, together with notifications of new messages when there weren't any. This was all in the Wrangler forum. The only thing different from usual is a string of huge pics that have been posted there.

Interestingly, when the messages disappeared and reappeared the numbering was all correct for whatever was displayed.

CarMax experience was fantastic by rodgers7

I just picked up my brand new Jeep Rubicon from the CarMax location in Norcross, Georgia. They were $1000 less any dealer in the greater Atlanta area and the purchase process was completely painless-- zero nonsense. This is the only location which sells new Jeeps in the US but I'd highly recommend them if you live in Georgia.

Invoice Pricing by vistawrangler

Some posters reference the "invoice" price (e.g. "I paid $200 over invoice"). How do you know invoice price? Edmunds provides a "TMV" but this is a theoretical value. How does anyone know for sure what the invoice is?

Thanks!

Ordered in July it just hit the lot today MSRP $29, 650.00 , horrible service to this point and the sales manager seems to think he is being accomidating by offering 400.00 over invoice for a total of $27,438.
does this sound reasonable or should I dog him for a little more?

So why would you even think of rewarding this idiot with your business?

Bad dealerships can only remain in business if customers continue to deal with them instead of walking out the door.

Your right, although I gave them a 500.00 non refundable deposit when I ordered back in july....to be honest I can affort to take that hit and I have enough influence in my job that I could steer many young military people from this establishment if I so desire.

You'll get your $500 dollars back if you make a fuss. Use the small claims court procedure if necessary. The dealer needs to show you caused them to sustain a loss. Unless you ordered some unsellable combination of options they'll find it hard to prove on an '06 Wrangler.

Just go in there and get annoyed in a controlled way at noon on a Saturday!

South Denver Jeep dealer, MSRP $25,988.00 paid 22,300 + got $2000.00 back with my military incentive and, finance through jeep dealer 4%. They wanted $490.00 for processing vehicle. I thanked them for their time and got up to leave.... The $490.00 went away. I got the deal and am a happy camper! Best MPG: 22.05 through Rocky Mount. Nat. Park. Three years, I hope they have a diesel wrangler if so, I will get one!

OK here is the final, I went in there at lunch today told them I wasnt unhappy with there offer so I told them I wanted the employee discount + 1000.00 Chrysler rebate as well as 500.00 military discount. The salesman was quick to answer up on the military rebate but said nothing about the rest after I got the sales manager and the general manager involved we closed the deal at $25,738.00

MSRP $29,560.00
         - $2322.00 Employee Discount
         - $1000.00 Chrysler factory discount
         - $500.00 Military discount

Total to be financed, 25,738.00
I was happy with that and the new rubicon is sitting in my driveway now but thet tried to slip a fast one by me in the paper work. They tried to fool me as I put 500.00 down when I ordered it and they tried to use that in the figures and left out the $500.00 military rebate, of course I caught it!!

Beware they are shameless and will do anything tosave a penny!!
