Replying to: paule (Mar 25, 2005 8:35 pm) Could you post/email your APR if you went through CFS? I am having a little difficulty with the rates I was quoted..6.99% for 48 or 60 months. Thanks Rusty

Replying to: jeep3 (Mar 27, 2005 10:33 am) I think you have the wrong guy. I haven't bought a vehicle (at least a Jeep) recently so I do not have any rates for you. It would not surprise me however that they are quoting you in the 6-7% range since they gave you the $1000. They have to make it up somewhere. If you have the ability to pay cash for the vehicle, you are in the catbird seat. Then you can take the $1000 and pay off the loan in a month or two assuming they don't have a penalty written into the deal. I might add it seems you are getting a smoking deal with the price your quoting. They must be pretty desperate to give that much off of MSRP and then give the rebates as well. |

Hi Paule, Sorry about that, I thought you recently purchased a GC. I know I have an extremely good deal, I am not satisfied with the interest rates. It was my understanding the rebates and the additional $1000 for going through CFS had nothing to do with the rates. I have applied online and have been approved by CFS, just waiting for Monday for the exact rate and then I will confront the dealer with the rate quoted by CFS. I know I am pushing very hard on this deal, but I have never paid more than 5.9% for a car loan. I also want to add, this site has been so helpful in all the ideas and information, so thanks to the site. |

Replying to: jeep3 (Mar 23, 2005 5:56 pm) When I ordered, the dealer put in writing they would honor the highest of the rebates -- equal to the $2k in February or whatever came in March. Obviously they had up to $3,500 in March which worked in my favor. I ordered my JCG (no rear DVD or shiny wheels). MSRP 40,070. Out the door sales price of $34,311 ($2500 +$750 loan rebate -- long story but the best option) plus tax, title and tag of $2,096 for a total of $36,407. And yep, the Hemi's are getting scarce. And it is a wonderful engine . . . . |

Here is a re-post on our Limited Hemi purchase. It has every option except for the rear seat entertainment. The Jeep is still running perfect. Zero issues. The rate was 5.99 for 48 months, there was a misprint on the rebates plus zero interest at Jeep.com, it was since corrected. The Jeep drives flawlessly. Reminds us of our Lexus RX300. Its very smooth. The buying experience was excellent. The dealer spent an hour on a Sunday night going thru all of the features. They did not rush us. Hi everyone. I recently ordered a 2005 GC Limited from a local dealer. Does anyone know the approximate current lead time for an order? Also, does anyone know a way to track your order through Chrysler (other than the dealer)? I've tried the customer assistance information on wkjeeps.com but did not hear a option for order tracking? Thanks for your help. I can't to get the GC. 05' Grand Cherokee Limited - Blue with Greystone Interior - 5.7L Hemi - Quadra Drive II - DVD Navigation - Parksense - Premium Tire/Pressure monitor |

I have a 93 GC Limited, green, khaki leather interior. Has been a gem of a vehicle. I am looking to buy a 2005 GC, Limited, Hemi and want to know which stereo might work with the IPOD. I have found a few new connectivity kits that work by plugging into either the cd changer harness or the back of car stereos. Does anyone have an IPOD hooked up with a 2005 GC? The kits I have seen online so are are the Monster Cable " Icruze " and the Audiovox " Ipod Mobile interface kit". So far I am leaning towards getting the navigation radio but would be willing to settle for one of the other ones if I could connect my IPOD and have the car stereo buttons control it. The Itrip sort of sucks. Thanks to everyone for posting on this site, it has helped me negotiate a great price on a new Jeep.. I'm just waiting for my VW Jetta to sell or get a good deal on a trade in. I also want to trade in the Jeep so they aren't wanting to give me much for them and they don't seem to be selling.

Hi snowmancomic, I was informed it would be 6-8 weeks before it would come in. I chose to have the dealer locate the one I wanted from another dealer and do a "Dealer Trade." This is actually kinda funny, but the one I picked out ended up being a demo. It seems the owner liked it so much he started driving it and has put on 1500 miles. I am not interested in that one, so now back to the drawing board. I called Jeep Customer Rebates Center, (800)227-0757 to find out how long rebates will be in effect. They have extended it thru April 4. And they will not know until 04/05/05 if they are extended further. |

Replying to: jeep3 (Mar 29, 2005 2:54 pm) 6-8 weeks was what I was quoted also, just was wondering if anyone had ordered recently and received theirs. I ordered it about 2 weeks ago and when i stopped by last Sat, they said a VIN number had been assigned and was scheduled for delivery sometime in April. Any idea on how to track it through production? I also tried to have the dealer locate one within a 200 mile radius, but no luck on the color/options I was looking for. Only one we found was completely loaded and about 2.5K more than I wanted to spend. My dealer told me that the current rebates (excluding the financing rebate) would apply as of the order date and I would get any applicable financing rebate that was available at the date the GC arrived and I took ownership. Thanks for your help. |
