I am looking to buy a new Element and received a quote of $1200 off MSRP w/ an out the door price of $24,000. taxes here are 8.8% That is not ever 10% not a real bargain wondering if that is a good deal or maybe I should wait a little longer but the money is trying to burn a hole in my pocket...   I will keep looking this weekend but any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.   Oh I went to the Honda dealership here in Tacoma, WA. I don't know if I got the best price Out the Door, Well under MSRP for sure, but our tax just went up on Jan 1, and the dealership was hungrey to finish December with my car in their numbers. I got an excellent price for my trade in...really!! High miles and needed work and maintenance... and I got a few accessories thrown in cause they had to find the car in right color at another dealership and I said I wouldn't pay for those and I also got them to take an additional 15% off putting in a few other accessories. I didn't use their financing... which they really wanted. Also... know this is silly, but got lifetime car external washing... which adds up you know! Good luck and enjoy.

got an offer yesterday to buy one close to invoice ($19800) and to take my trade at slightly above the kbb 'good' rating.   is this a good deal, or should i try to push for a little more?

Just paid $19500 + tax & reg fees. MSRP is $21015, Invoice is $19,595. I took the 0.9% financing for 48 months.
