But, I didn't think to ask the dealer if it would affect the warranty at all...hope it doesn't

I.e. only for current Kia owners.   I've sometimes wondered if it's worth buying an old junker Kia for $500 and using it to get a $2000 loyalty incentive. They were no bargain but not horribly expensive either, and I found a local auto accessory place to install them for about 30 bucks.
