I have an offer on a new 2005 Outback XT: MSRP = 31,151 Price = 23,393 (includes 2,500 manu rebate) OTD = 24,499 Car has only 108 miles on it but its been sitting at the dealer for over a year. It looks great and I love the turbo! Thanks for any thoughts on this deal.

Replying to: maxheadroom (Feb 05, 2006 9:50 am) Has it really been sitting there for over a year? Why? Does the dealer look like it keeps a lot of inventory around? I suppose worse case is that it's had some issue that kept the dealership from offering it, and they took their time making the repairs. |

I just bought an '06 Outback Limited for $25k even. Is this a good price? I called a lot of dealers and only one offered to meet this price. MY QUESTION: The dealership offered me the 6yr/60K extended warranty for a price of $986. They claimed they are offering it to me at cost. Can that be true? Is this a good price? Does anyone have any experience with Subaru extended warranties? Shoulg I buy this? (based on your experience). I am tempted to roll the dice and not buy it, would love to hear some other opinions. Thanks. |
