Would need more information such as state (regarding tax), transmission type, any optional accessories. My gut feeling is that you should not pay more than $23K out the door for it.

The car has an automatic transmission, state tax is 3%, tag is $74, doc fee is $399. The only optional accessories is the mirror with compass. The $750 cash rebate is already included in the price of the car. Any advice is much appreciated.

So, that is looking like $400 under invoice at the price offered. That would be a good price for Alaska, but I still think I would shoot for closer to $1000 under (so, knock off another $600 before TTL). If you cannot get it for that then nothing lost and nothing gained.
It is getting close to year end, so I would think dealers to be slightly more willing to deal. Is this a local dealership? If you will be doing maintenance business there, that should also be more incentive for them.

No, it's not a good price. I just bought a 2007 2.5i wagon, auto transmission with auto dimming mirror/compass and rubber mats for $22,142 before TTL. The car has ultra-low emission which is $200 more than Federal emission. It came out to about $1,200 under invoice. Check carsdirect.com and your dealership should at least match carsdirect.com price.

Can you tell us what state you're located in, and if the $22,142 includes the $750 rebate?

Special Order to get Non-Std Interior Color ?

Hello,
I am currently considering a 2007 Outback. The exterior colors I like come with the tan interior, which I don't like because I keep a car a long time and the tan just seems that it will show dirt and wear.
Is it possible to special order a Subaru with the "opposite" interior color, charcoal replacing tan?
If this can be done, is there an extra charge to do it?
Thank You for your help.
Paul

Dealer negotiations have resulted in an all-in price of $27,051 for this (automatic trans.) car. Price includes Tax 5%, Title, Destination and Delivery, and $750 rebate). Good price?

I'm in California. $22,142 included destination charge and $750 rebate, i.e. taxable price was $22,892. $750 was taken off at the bottom as "customer cash".

Was this for the 'Limited' version (e.g., leather, sun roof, dual zone automatic climate control, etc.)??? Your (good) pricing sounds consistent with the regular 2007 Outback 2.5i Wagon.
