Thanks to those who posted. As always, your comments were very helpful in buying a new car.

I purchased a 2008 Impreza Wagon 2.5 base model (with manual transmission) yesterday at Annapolis Subaru. Very pleased with the staff and sales person (Allison Williams). Also, a very simple purchase, with most info taken over the phone Friday.

Final sale price of the car was $16,379, got a fair price on my trade in and financing that was better than what my credit union could offer.

Very low price for a lotta car. Wow. That's about what a Fit Sport costs, sans AWD.

Hi all,

Here is the quote I got for a 2008 OBS in the SF Bay Area. Please let me know what you think.

2008 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport with the Automatic transmission and the following factory options: I-Pod Interface, Subwoofer and Amplifier and Security System Shock Sensor. $20,598 + Fees (includes destination & delivery).

Subaru is also offering 0% APR for 24 months for qualified buyers.

Your input is appreciated!

Hi, eastbay1. Did you get your new OBS from dealer in the SF Bay Area? If so, can you tell me which dealership? Thanks.

Price looks pretty good to me! Invoice (incl. destination) on your car would be $20,565. The invoice price of all your options adds another $821, so you'd be at a total invoice of $21,386.
