This is my first post here I've read many of the purchasing tips. I'm kind of torn between getting a new 07 now or wait save up more money and try to find one in another 6 months, mainly because I'm really not feeling the new 08's, so I'm feeling kinda rushed in my decision making as I have read here that many 07's are becoming scarce and hard to find. I got a quote from a local dealership for a stock wrx M.S.R.P. $26,364.00 INTERNET PRICE $23,492.00 plus tax/tags (includes destination, all prep charges and current Factory incentives, where applicable) also should I be looking to go in the direction of a tr opposed to the non tr model? Also I can put down $14,000 at signing as I am 21 now and have been saving for a car since I was 16. Just thought I would ask some people who know these cars the best and get their opinions so thanks in advance!! |

If you want bang-for-the-buck and more value, go for the 07. If you want more refinement, back seat space, and don't mind paying more, then wait. Also, let personal taste decide. Do you like the new look more? |

I ended up buying an 07 in wrb and I'm really glad with my decision, It's totally unlike anything I've ever driven. And I personally don't like the 08 wrx models so I decided to go 07 which look really sharp pictures don't do it justice.

Just helped my buddy negotiate a 2008 Impreza 2.5i hatchback automatic. It was base except for a few cruddy options (cargo net, etc) MSRP was approx 19,448 including destination Negotiated price: 18,800 How'd we do? Seemed like we could have gotten another 1-200 off, but my it was my friends deal, so I didn't really want to push toooo much. |

Replying to: dj_quaaludes (Sep 16, 2007 7:11 pm) Negotiated price: 18,800 The below are prices for the Manual not the automatic. So from the look of it you got an automatic for $660. That seems ok to me. The car is new so dealers won't deal much at first. MSRP $18,140 Invoice $17,356 Edmunds TMV Price $18,140
