| Friend just bought a base impreza automatic w/38 miles for 17,281 after 500 cash incentive, invoice 17,824 msrp 18,662 after destination fee. No trade-in and $55 doc fee. Fielded quotes over the internet and this was lowest by $500; dealer claimed was selling at a loss, but who knows. Bought from Subaru dealer in Fremont, CA. | |

I have not seen many recent posts in here or any really in regards to the 07 WRX Limited Wagon. I have been trying to decide between the 07 Legacy GT and the 07 WRX Limited Wagon. I am totally bummed that the Legacy GT no longer is available with the 5 spd. The resale values between the two is not enough to make up the difference in additional cost of the Legacy GT. So I think I am going to go with the WRX Limited. Here is what I am looking 07 WRX Limited Wagon 5 spd in Urban Gray with the following accessories: Popular Equipment Group 2E: $250 Short Throw Manual Transmission Shifter: $225 Cross Bar Kit: $111 Popular Equipment Group 4: $105 Popular Equipment Group 3A: $111 Rear Bumper Cover: $41 Subwoofer/Amplifier: $182 Could someone tell me what they have paid for their WRX Limited 5 spd? Here is what I was thinking about hitting the dealers with... MSRP: $26,995 (Total MSRP price including accessories = $29,210) Invoice: $25,427 Invoice + accessories ($1,025) = $26,452 $26,452 - $500 customer finance cash = $25,952 $25,952 - dealer holdback 3% Total MSRP ($29,210) = ($876) = $25,076 $25,076 + dealer profit 2% of $25,076 = ($502) = $25,578 $25,578 + destination charge ($640) = $26,218 $26,218 + TX tax (1.0625 = $1,639) = $27,857 Not sure how much title and registration is? I am in San Antonio, TX. Also curious if anyone knows what the invoice pricing is on the Performance Exhaust System-Cat-Back (SPT) and the SPT High Flow Air Intake System? Also, does anyone what the difference is between the Cargo Tray and the Cargo Bin? Any and all help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Christopher

Replying to: cjamaale (Mar 20, 2007 3:32 pm) If you want a good deal wait until the new model is introduced, and if you want an even better deal on an '07, wait until the first '08's start hitting the dealer lots! |

What I'm seeing here in MN is invoice less customer cash (reduced from $1k to $750 starting June 1). Cheap factory financing still applies to qualified credits. cjamaale - I'd recommend reconsidering some of the factory upgrades, particularly the audio stuff. A new aftermarket HU - plenty of reasonable double-DIN options with NAV, XM/Sirius, iPod compatibility, etc. available. Check Crutchfield as a start. Much better solution with surprisingly similar costs. Bag the OE sub. Also, bag the SPT exhaust stuff. Overpriced. Plenty of new/used parts available for less that make it go faster. I'd start with a reflash. The cat back and CAI will do little to nothing other than make more noise. You can find pix of all the aftermarket stuff right on the Suby website. kernick - the 2007s are so hard to find because many find the 2008s ugly/unimpressive. I don't think there will be any material devaluation of late model/used WRXs or STis...might even help them hold value better. |
