I think so...a friend is shopping and could not beat the price on a Forester X, oddly enough. That's much cheaper.

Both of you are correct in my point of view. I ask everyone reading this to ask themselves..... shouldn't a dealer that is serious about selling cars, especially such a sought after and performance minded vehicle have ONE dedicated test drive vehicle for limited production cars? I didnt test drive my New 2007 STI limited. But I did test drive a regular STI because the mechanical end of both cars is identical.

by the way.... MY STI hauls $$ and is absolutely gorgeous inside.
and I paid 2000 over invoice... other were asking 5k over.

That sounds like a great deal! My father-in-law is looking for one in New Jersey and I am in San Diego. What is the dealership that is offering such a great price? Have you considered the Saab 9-2X that is being discontinued as of this year? Saab is offering a $5000 rebate on top of whatever deal you can negotiate with the dealer.

Man that sounds like an awesome deal. Which dealer was offering that price? I going to buy a WRX if I can get that kind of deal in California.

This looks like a pretty good price. I was quoted $22,950 on a WRX sedan (not TR) with a spoiler, so your dealer might come down to say $22,300 or so (not sure on the wheel locks option price or if there is a difference in price in your area). Beware though, since this dealer really tried to lowball me on my trade. However, if I sell my car myself, they will honor their quote still. I will either do that, see what another dealer will give me in trade, or wait for them to up their offer. Their offer wasn't even in the neighborhood of a good deal though.
