Yesterday I put on 350 miles before filling up, the light came on when I had travelled around 315 - 320 miles & said 70 miles to go, when I got to gas station it indicated 40 to go & was probably close to dropping 30. The 16.3 gallons I put in is accurate, but I fill it to the brim. First shut off was at around 14.5 gallons so that means there probably were a few gallons in tank when light first came on

If you are thinking about buying soon, I just got the Subaru newsletter with a coupon good toward your next vehicle purchase, expires in about a month or so. You are told to gt your best deal, then show the dealer your $500 coupon.   Unfortunately, I already have my car, and the coupon is not transferrable...but, perhaps if you sign up for the newsletter right away, if you aren't getting it already, you'll be able to get a coupon as well??? I haven't mentioned my IMBA membership yet to the dealer. Don't know if I would get a better deal or not.
