Group buy in Ohio by bigwave1001

I am thinking to buy a Forester soon and looking for people with the same intent to form a buyer group in hope for some decent discounts. We do not have to buy the same cars as long as we go to the same dealership. If you are interested, please email me at usbzhotmail.com. I live in Columbus, Ohio and willing to travel to other metro Ohio cities. I am also flexible with other makes of cars, such as Honda or Toyota.

Ask what the Dodge would trade for in the Real World Trade In Values thread. Most people overestimate the value of their trade.

I have been offered $4100 from a local Ford dealer as a trade so I was using that figure as a guide.

Gotcha. Ask them to appraise it, and if it's lower, ask them to match the Ford dealer's offer (at least).

It is done. I now have a Forester Sport XT.
Here are the numbers.

MSRP $27950
Trade In $4500
Final Vehicle Price $20625
and I get the cross bars at cost.
I think it is a fair deal.

Wow, nice deal, ukyo2! Forester X has become an incredible value with the current prices available. $18,500 for an AWD vehicle with good utility, class-leading safety, excellent reliability and resale, lots of standard equipment and good power and handling... pretty amazing... what else even comes close at that price?

Did you pick that up at Carr in Beaverton?

Thanks jeffmc!
I got it at Kendall in Eugene. I also quoted at Carr in Beaverton, but they can't beat this price.
