Dealer had 500 rebate OR take the subaru financing option (e.g. 4.9% for 60 months). I would take the financing. Is this a good price?? Replying to: smacky (Feb 20, 2007 9:06 am)  Based on the MSRP, it sounds like it's an automatic transmission with about $1000 in options. Is this right? If so, I think they're offering you a fine price. (for reference, invoice on an automatic Premium with no options is $23,600, including destination.) They're offering probably about $700 below invoice without any rebate. That's very good. Absolute best-case scenario, you could get perhaps another $400-500 off, but I don't know if that's even possible. Not sure what current factory-to-dealer incentives are. The price they're offering gives them a minimal profit. What options are on the vehicle? It is very difficult to find the manufacturer to dealer rebate. You can estimate the manufacturer to dealer rebate by the price of the advertisements from fitzmall.com or motoralley.com. Good luck. |
