Don't even bother pulling that property tax deal on someone who owns property in California still. Even Oregon doesn't have as high of property tax as California.

They get you coming, going, sitting standing.

Of interest. See what you get in Australia... Subaru.com.au

You get load leveling struts on everything and they have low high range manual transmissions. Really interesting is that they have accessories we don't. Only 45,000...of their bucks. And a 300 lb for tongue weight... Grrr, I want that stuff.

Invoice on a CA-spec X Premium w/AT is $23,834, minus $500 rebate (assuming it's the same in CA as here in WA) is $23,334. So if there are no options on the car, it looks like they're selling for $350 under invoice. I think that's a good deal. Not sure what the current factory-to-dealer incentives are on '07s, so you may be able to do a little better, but probably not by more than a couple hundred bucks.

I'll put my guess in - I bet you'd be out the door at about $26,250.

I`m just awaiting delivery of my Forester. This is my first Subaru and i`m very excited at the prospect.
Accessories in the UK are few and far between. In addition, the cost is right out of line. Does anyone know of a dealer who ships to uk?
Regards , from Scotland

In east coast, Wilkins Subaru and many other dealerships (except Herb Gordon) in MD-DC-VA region may provide much better price in high probability.

Fitzmall, in MD, is one of the cheapest Subie dealers in the country. Their bottom-line pricing on a $23,700 invoice Forester Premium AT is $23k, including rebates. So if they've got the same $500 rebate in that region as they do here in the West, Fitzmall is selling for about $200 below invoice before rebate. On their very best Forester deals, Fitzmall is offering about $500 below invoice before rebate. In the original post, Forrest39's deal is about $350 below invoice before rebate. I said it was a good deal, and that he may be able to do better by a couple hundred bucks at most. The Fitzmall numbers seem to back up my estimate.

If you know of any specific pricing better than $500 below invoice (before rebate) on an '07 Forester Premium AT, please post. Maybe we can save some folks a few more bucks on their purchase!

Sorry pushed wrong button. Just noticed on rebate site that Subaru is offering $1500 cash back on Forester X. Anybody know if there are any catches to this(like graduating from college in 1972)It seems like a terrific deal.
Have a 2001 and this is tempting.

03 Forester with 64,000...recently when i accelerate there is a loud tinny sounding rattle...can really hear it when the window is down..feel that it could be in the region under the front seat area..(but maybe not)...hoping it is not the exhaust..just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions of things that i could check before i take it in..
