Replying to: sct75 (Oct 31, 2006 7:06 am) KS is only difference and that was worth almost a thousand verses my 04X where the trade in was not much. I didn't know that at first. That made quite a difference for me in my final decision about trade in value and the final financing amount as I kept wondering where the catch was in the deal. It was almost like money down.

I think the trade-in value will only be applied to the overall price after the tax, not before, same as the $500 customer cash. In other words, our trade-in will not bring in any tax benefit to us, although when we bought it, we did pay tax on the car. Additionally, dealership processing fee and/or additional options to the car, such as accessories and extended warranty, will be taxed as well. |

Unfortunately, in Kansas there is little industry so the govt. has to get it from the citizen's hides. The only good thing I have ever seen re: KS taxes is that "difference" tax vs. total price.

Subaru.com.au You get load leveling struts on everything and they have low high range manual transmissions. Really interesting is that they have accessories we don't. Only 45,000...of their bucks. And a 300 lb for tongue weight... Grrr, I want that stuff. |
