I have a silver 08 S as well. The amazing thing is I get a lot of compliments about the wheels! Comments are even from non-car types. I have gotten more comments about the wheels than the car - go figure.

Looks like a super deal to me. I spent 33.4 in April.

I have notices this vibration on my 2005 TL. Brought the issue to the dealer several times. After driving the car the dealer says it is normal. It drives me crazy especially on long highway trips. Did you get any other information concerning this problem? It is really annoying and takes away the pleasure on driving/owning the car.

Bad experience at Marin Acura (SF Bay Area) by luv2cruse

I would have thought visiting an Acura dealer would be a better experience than that of a Honda dealer. Boy, was I wrong. These folks tried to pull one of those "bait and switch" on me. What a disappointment!!

The sales guy has quoted me for a white 2008 TL w/out navi for $30400 out-the-door total, and invited me to go visit him and for a test drive. So I drove 50 plus miles in the rain from Mountain View to Marin to check out the car. When I got there, the guy didn't even greet me or bother to shake my hand, bad impression. He immediately wanted me to sit down and get the paperwork started. I was like can I see the car first? Then he said that the car is actually at another Acura dealer up in Sacramento. At that point, I was just PO. And he said that I should drive another 100+ mile to sacramento for the test drive if I want. What an a-hole. No wonder Acura is loosing customer to the folks at Infiniti and Lexus. I have bought many hondas and acuras, and this was my worst car shopping experience ever.

i have had 2 bad experience at dealers in MA, one Acura of Walpole and another at Herb Connely in Framingham, i will NEVER step foot in those dealers again or recommend to any1. Also was disgusted with Milford Acura in CT, real bad experience there also as i heard from others about them too..

however i have had great experience buying Honda accords, if the new accords were not soo ugly i would buy another. so now im moving onto MB and Lexus

I also had a similar experience with them. All along during the price discussion on the phone for several days, they indicated that the car is available in their inventory. After we agreed on the price, they disclosed it was a dealer trade when I asked for confirmation. So it was no deal with them.

My experience with other internet sale managers in the south bay are quite positive. Give them a try at Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, and Hopkins Acura in Redwood City.

When I was shopping around in May, I emailed all the local dealers in the bay area. I also felt that Marin seemed unpleasant to deal with. They wanted me to visit them in person "right now," literally. Oakland offered to "beat" the lowest price, but when I asked them for the total and itemize it, they added the freight charge again, whereas the other dealers already included the freight charge. Serramonte was the best, in my experience, and that's where I purchased my 2008 TL the next day.

I contacted Rizza Acura, talked to the general Manager himself, they do have a 2008 Type S with Special Chrome Wheels and some type of All Season Tires.

This car has FIVE THOUSAND MILES on it however.....and they are NOT willing to adjust price for the 5000 Miles that they have put on it. They're giving me Invoice Minus 3500 Rebate, but ADD $2500 for the Rims and Tires.

I researched into how much those Chrome Wheels and Tires are going for if you buy them seperately and it is somewhere near $2000 Max, not $2500. Also, they are not not willing to give up any of the dealer holdback. I guess it might be a great deal for someone who really wants a Type S really badly, but not for me.

What do you guys think?

I suspect you talked to Dale, I made my deal with Chuck over the internet. I would not pay $2500+ plus for 19" wheels as the std ones are great and they will wear quicker and cost more money to replace.

I had a good experience at Rizza but at that time the "S" were generally easy to get. I was happy with my deal as I got it out the door for about 2K less than MSRP (that included all taxes, title, and other minor costs).

They apparently have quite a few TLs/with Nav. Maybe you can get a better deal on one of those. Don't forget your not buying a 20K car so the dealer is expecting to make a few more $ as they are not as a high volume vehicle. I could not get an indication what % of TLs are S but I suspect they are a bit scarce.

Hope something works out for you.

Thanks for your sharing. Then I don't need to drive 50+ miles to Marin Acura to deal the pricing this weekend, I can check with Las Gatos first, similar quotaion but much closer.
