Austin TX area dealer. Price Paid: $36,500 + $400 + TTL in a few extras that I didn't have the guts to negotiate off after arriving (finally) at the $36,500 price. I believe the $400 included a trunk tray/liner, 4 wheel locks, something else that I cant remember now, that wasn't terribly substantial. There was a trade involved. 2003 Merc CLK500 for $15,000 credit. 54K miles, loaded with everything but a built in phone. (distronic, parktronix, xenons, navi, etc)

Replying to: 2008stype (Nov 24, 2008 12:21 pm) A major issue, however, is that this is an out-of-state purchase, and I am planning on closing the deal by phone/fax/Fedex, then having the car delivered to me. Any idea if this is a risky proposition? What are the chances I will get a lemon?! This is a brand new car from what appears to be a legit Acura dealer. Wonder if any problems I might run into over the ensuing weeks/months can be fixed at a local Acura dealer and covered by the factory warranty, or would this turn into a blame game between manufacturer and dealer of origin, with me left holding the bag?
