I have been shopping around for a TL in Houston, TX what dealerships did you get the pricing from. The best so far I seen $29,400.00

The dealer was in Irving (Dallas). They were the cheapest. In fact, I may drive from New Orleans to purchase my car there.

Do you have a trade in car?
 
You dont want to use the 0.9% rate, right?
 
I am in Houston too , just bought a new TL (navi), I think during discussions I was offered 29K for a base. I could refer you to the sales guy if you re interested in that price

I bought from Park Acura in Akron. Ask for Thomas. He dealt pretty fairly with me. In fact, I sold my car quicker than expected and he drove to my house with a TL to drive until they could locate the color I wanted! I also shopped at the dealer on Brookpark Road (but didn't like the salesman, Paul, he seemed phoney to me) and also at the Acura dealer in Bedford.

Was that with the $2,000.00 or $2,500.00 that Acura is offering the dealers? Do you know what type of inventory they have left? I live in Detroit, but may be willing to drive that far if the deal is right.

Am I about to be taken advantage of? I'm in Balto-Washington DC area.
 
Price proposed is $36,800 OTR, including taxes & title. Dealer (Frankel Acura) is starting with $1,500 under invoice (so he says) at $34,420, then add $1,721 (5% sales tax) + $659 for title / tags, which equals $36,800.
 
Do you think they'd give me color matched splash guards, all season floor mats, and trunk mat if I asked?
 
I'm getting my own financing, no trade-in.

A TL-S buyer can correct me, but I think that's too much.
 
There's currently $2500 dealer cash so you should be at least $2,500 below invoice. (Don't know what invoice on a TL-S is) And $659 for title and tags seems like a lot (don't know what the true cost in your area is). In PA I paid under $150 for title/tags/reg.
 
My gut is that this is NOT a good deal.

I just picked up my TL-S from dealer today in Philly. I agree that $659 for title and tags sounds high. I paid $148.50. For the car I paid $36k total (including 7% sales tax). Smack, thanks for your advice on the car and the dealers in the area. You were extremely helpful.
